Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage sales pipeline to move a large number of strategic transactions through the sales process
  • Generate revenue and work closely with channel partners to successfully sell Model9’s products
  • Prospecting and penetrating new accounts, nurturing a champion, reaching decision makers and winning deals
  • Define and execute sales plans for the assigned territory to meet and exceed quota through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities
  • Building and presenting business cases and establishing value including creating and presenting proposals to customers with information that demonstrates the ability of the company’s products to meet the customers’ business objectives
  • Drive account strategies and coordinate team selling efforts with partners to close business on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Based in the US – a must

Requirements

  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in a customer facing sales roles for enterprise customers 
  • A proven track record of penetrating accounts, reaching decision-makers, and closing business
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter, comfortable working remotely and autonomously
  • Experience working in a startup environment
  • Comfortable working with other stakeholders in the company to articulate needs, drive decisions and align resources to get the job done
  • Poses a “hunter” mentality
  • Ability to travel with the needs of the role
  • Experience in selling with channel and technology partners
  • Comfortable in working with multiple customer decision-makers to drive proposals
  • Presentation skills of technical and business material both in-person and over video conference
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Model9, a pioneer of cloud data management for mainframe, is looking for a brilliant B2B Tech Content Marketing Manager who’s a creative thinker, understands product concepts and is passionate about content and storytelling. In this role you will oversee our content strategy and  development, crafting Model9’s messages and positioning in support of our demand generation, market awareness and thought leadership objectives.  

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and own Model9’s content strategy, development and creation. The role includes both hands-on content writing and management of outsourced writers. 
  • Craft a compelling Model9 story and messages to fuel marketing channels with effective content (collateral, web and social media content, digital ad campaigns, sales enablement tools)
  • Research, follow and analyze market trends to craft content that will position Model9 as thought leaders
  • Develop a content strategy and an editorial calendar that is aligned with the company / product’s strategy and market trends
  • Manage work process with content writers, designers, product, demand generation and PR/AR teams to implement strategies 
  • Translate product concepts and features into end user benefits and value
  • Increase engagement across the buying journey by identifying personas’ needs and pain points and translating them into valuable content assets

Requirements: 

  • 5 years as a B2B – Hitech Content Marketing Manager, Content Writer, Marketing Communications, Product Marketing or similar role
  • Talented storyteller with copywriting skills – a must! 
  • Project management skills in a multi-tasking environment – a must!
  • Familiarity and experience with marketing cloud / data (analytics / BI / AI / data management and storage) / enterprise solutions / IT Infrastructure – an advantage!

The Channel Partner Manager (CPM) is responsible for the recruitment, development, and management of the business relationships with Reseller and Alliance partners in the US. The successful CPM will work in tandem with Account Executives and Solution Architects to successfully develop new and existing partners.  They will collaborate with the Marketing team on programs and events designed to promote Model9 products and drive revenue through partners.  This is an individual contributor positon but we are seeking an entrepreneurial candidate who has managed channel teams and/or can lead a channel team. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Create Strategies and lead team efforts to maximize sell-through of Model9 products within Channel.
  • Enable and train partners field sales/SE staff to ensure we have self-sufficient partners
  • Manage and be the main point of contact for existing partners. 
  • Aggressively drive partner to maximize sales through sales best practices, training and support. 
  • Establish and maintain executive relationships and key individuals within partners to drive growth
  • Host and organize partner executive briefings with key partners    
  • Communicate masterfully with partners on new product offerings. 
  • Work with marketing to drive programs and events to extend the relationships to new prospects. 
  • Build a network with Model9 partner companies – AWS, Azure, Hitachi, Cohesity etc.. 
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars, and trade shows. 
  • Be willing to travel extensively and be in front of partner companies within the region 

Ideal Candidate

  • 5 – 10 years of demonstrated experience developing Reseller and Alliance Channels. 
  • Knowledge of the Enterprise software industry including Storage, Backup, Data Protection and Cloud
  • Passionate to build a business, travel within the territory and be in front of partners 
  • Able to initiate deals with partners, help close them in close sync with Model9 sales teams
  • Ability to establish executive relationships and bring value to partner sales teams
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Has worked with vendors like AWS, Azire, Hitachi, Cohesity etc.. and understands how to build a joint solution with partners.   
  • Great relation and reputation with key partners.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency. 
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
