Model9 is looking for an amazing Java tech-lead to join its talented development team. We are looking for an experienced hands-on software tech lead with the ability to create architectural approaches for software design and implement them. 

Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on technical lead of new features development and architecture of an enterprise scale software
  • Maintain a broad overview of technical challenges in order to achieve long term goals while realizing short term objectives  
  • Ownership of development cycle from design to deployment
  • Being a technical focal point in the team

Requirements:

  • BSc in Computer Science/ related field or graduates of IDF technological course.
  • 7+ years of software development experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage sales pipeline to move a large number of strategic transactions through the sales process
  • Generate revenue and work closely with channel partners to successfully sell Model9’s products
  • Prospecting and penetrating new accounts, nurturing a champion, reaching decision makers and winning deals
  • Define and execute sales plans for the assigned territory to meet and exceed quota through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in a customer facing sales roles for enterprise customers 
  • A proven track record of penetrating accounts, reaching decision-makers, and closing business
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter, comfortable working remotely and autonomously

  • Comfortable working with other stakeholders in the company to articulate needs, drive decisions and align resources to get the job done

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert in our product portfolio, onboarding process and roadmap
  • Drive retention and growth among our customers by understanding their business needs, educating them about products and helping them gain maximum value to experience success
  • Enable onboarding by providing project planning and time management to customers to guarantee a successful implementation in a timely manner 
  • Maintain a cadence of communicating with customers about their adoption rate, sentiment, and integration opportunities for deeper engagement
  • Work with solution architects and professional services to remove any technical hurdles and provide workarounds to achieve customer success goals 
  • Collaborate closely with Sales to identify new use cases for customers, promote renewals, and expansion opportunities
  • Represent the voice of the customer by communicating their needs to the product team and their issues to the support team
  • Identify opportunities for customers to act as Model9 advocates (e.g. testimonials, case studies, community events)

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a Customer Success, Relationship Management, Account Management, or similar role
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with large enterprise customers, while working to mitigate churn and drive engagement and renewals
  • Experience in project planning and management 
  • Results-driven mentality, with a bias for speed and action
  • Exceptional communication skills, empathetic with a positive attitude, highly organized, collaborative and detail oriented
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into insights
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Understanding of data management, on-prem and in the cloud at large enterprises
  • Previous experience with the IBM mainframe platform is an advantage
  • Ability to travel based on job needs (estimated at 20%)
