Marketing Director


Model9, a pioneer of cloud data management for enterprises, is looking for a brilliant B2B Tech Marketing Director, with proven hands on experience in demand generation, campaign management, digital marketing and marketing automation. In this role, you will oversee the planning, development and execution of inbound and outbound marketing efforts that will drive demand for the Model9 solution and generate both direct and partner-sourced pipeline. 

The role will include managing marketing automation / operations and digital marketing resources as well as developing a variety of marketing programs, including brand awareness, ABM-focused lead generation, paid media and partner marketing. The Marketing Director will work closely with product & content marketing, sales and business development teams. 

The ideal candidate is an experienced B2B tech marketer with a background in driving demand from a business and senior IT leadership audience in an enterprise – long sales cycle environment. An analytical, data-driven yet creative hands-on marketer with a passion for demand generation.

Roles / Responsibilities:

  • Build, execute, and optimize demand gen marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Design account-based demand funnels with marketing-sales alignment and processes. 
  • Set demand gen goals. Establish program measurement methodology and analyze results.
  • Work with partner marketing to develop and execute partner related activities and joint events.
  • Manage, promote and leverage events, webinars, roundtables and virtual conferences.
  • Develop buyer-centric online journeys and website navigation.
  • Manage and optimize online marketing spend and social channels.
  • Plan and execute nurture programs and segmented email campaigns. 
  • Work closely with marketing operations on campaign setup and execution.
  • Manage SEO/SEM/PPC efforts.
  • Oversee media spend and search against performance metrics to optimize results.
  • Coordinate with content marketing to align online activity with editorial and campaign content.


  • 3-5 years experience in B2B tech marketing / demand generation roles
  • Familiarity and experience with cloud / data domains in companies selling to the enterprise market – an advantage
  • Familiarity with demand funnel stages and process design, buying cycle, personas, segmentation, sales and marketing processes
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot), Salesforce, Web content management (CMS), Web analytics tools, Social media platforms, Intent-based platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 
  • Excellent problem solver and detail-oriented
  • Bachelor’s degree required (In marketing / business / communications – an advantage)
