Senior Data Engineering Sales Engineer

We are looking for a Sr. Solutions Engineer specializing in Cloud Data Engineering and AI & ML to support the rapid growth of Model9 and to actively drive customer acquisition. The SE will work closely with our Sales team, Partners, and Leadership, and will be an integral member as well as the primary technical resource of our Sales team. This position is global, and the need is to support all opportunities related to data transformation and running AI, BI and ML on core enterprise applications data. Through your deep product knowledge, expertise in how companies use and deploy Model9, as well as technical issues handling in customer interactions, you’ll be supporting our sales team throughout their process. You must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships with the market and customers.   • Partner with the Sales team to plan, prepare and execute strategic deals in complex sales cycles
  • Successfully match customer needs/requirements to proposed solutions
  • Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
  • Effectively communicate customer needs to the R&D and Product teams for future product/technology enhancements
  • Planning and delivering solution demonstrations, workshops, PoCs, and Pilots
  • Work closely with the Sales team on account strategy, identifying opportunities, providing technical sales support and training and support in responding to RFIs/ RFPs


  • At least 5 years experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions engineering, or implementation engineering in enterprise software for a SaaS, from Big Data or AI  Bricks companies or Cloud Providers.
  • Proven experience in selling SaaS to Data Scientists.
  • A Passion for data
  • Public Cloud knowledge and understanding
  • Willingness and ability to travel when needed
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to present technical solutions concisely to small or large audiences and to interact with employees, partners, and C-levels
  • Native/Fluent spoken and written English– a must
  • Team player who is eager to learn and influence new technologies
