Solution Engineer

EMEA

We are looking for a Solution Engineer to support the rapid growth of Model9 and to actively drive customer acquisition. The SE will work closely with our Sales team, Partners, and Leadership, and will be an integral member as well as the primary technical resource of our Sales team. You will manage all technical aspects of sales, including client onboarding and helping our prospects understand the value of our product. Through your deep product knowledge, expertise in how companies use and deploy Model9, as well as technical issues handling in customer interactions, you’ll be supporting our sales team throughout their process. You must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships with the market and customers. Working with a talented and agile core team, you will have the opportunity to join at an ideal time to grow with us and make a big impact. 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Sales team to plan, prepare and execute strategic deals in complex sales cycles
  • Successfully match customer needs/requirements to proposed solutions
  • Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
  • Effectively communicate customer needs to the R&D and Product teams for future product/technology enhancements
  • Planning and delivering solution demonstrations, workshops, PoCs, and Pilots
  • Work closely with the Sales team on account strategy, identifying opportunities, providing technical sales support and training and support in responding to RFIs/ RFPs 

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions engineering, or implementation engineering for enterprise software for a SaaS solution
  • Willingness and ability to travel when needed
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to present technical solutions concisely to small or large audiences and to interact with employees, partners, and C-levels
  • Native/Fluent spoken and written English– a must
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development
  • TCP/IP networking skills
  • Public Cloud knowledge and understanding
  • Proven experience in Mainframe z/OS software installation and troubleshooting – a must
  • Team player who is eager to learn and influence new technologies
